You've built your bot — now let's make sure it's truly ready for real visitors.

Run through this quick checklist before (and right after) you embed the widget on

your live site. Five minutes here saves you from awkward first impressions later.

Where this fits: This is the final stretch of the

Quick Start checklist — the go/no-go review before

your bot meets real customers.

Before you launch

✅ 1. Your bot is trained on the essentials

Confirm the bot knows your business. If you ran

Smart Setup, review the imported

FAQs, services, and products. Fill any gaps with

manual training — FAQs for your most

common questions, plus key services and locations.

💡 Keep it lean and accurate. It's better to answer 20 questions well than 200

questions poorly.

✅ 2. It looks like your brand

Check your widget styling: widget icon,

header, and message-bubble colors should match your site. Preview both the

Welcome and Chat states.

✅ 3. Your greeting invites action

Review your

welcome message and conversation-starter pills.

Aim for 3–5 pills mapped to your top visitor intents (e.g. "Get a Quote,"

"Book a Demo," "Support").

✅ 4. You've tested a real conversation

Use the built-in demo to chat with your bot exactly as a visitor would. Ask your

top 5–10 questions and confirm the answers are accurate and on-brand.

Test drive your bot privately before a single visitor sees it.

✅ 5. Lead alerts are set up

Make sure you'll actually hear about new leads. Confirm your notification email

and frequency so a hot lead never slips through.

✅ 6. You know where to paste the code

Have your embed snippet ready and know

where it goes — just before your site's closing `</body>` tag, or via Google Tag

Manager.

Launch

Paste your embed code, publish your site, and hard-refresh. Look for the widget

button in the corner, open it, and run one more quick question to confirm it's

live on the real page.

Right after launch

  • Watch your first conversations. Real visitors ask things you didn't expect —

it's the best source of new FAQ ideas.

  • Follow up on leads fast. Quick responses convert far better.
  • Refine as you go. Add FAQs for anything the bot missed and keep your training

lean and current.

🎉 That's it — your bot is live and working 24/7. Onboarding complete!
